The PTC (Parent Teacher Council) really got on the WWE's ass for their adult content and caused them to lose a lot of sponsers. WWE could be getting 10.6 ratings, but without ad revenue, they're not making shit. So in a way, WWE had to comply by toning their material down over time.

NO no no Godfather and Val venis were not ICONS they were in the IC division for a whie but not ICONS lol AUstin, Rock, Undertaker,KAne, Foley, HHH were the Main event division around that time.
