some people may not like it but it sounds like ice cube really has an ear for production he has put together a cd with a consistant hard sound while still utilising many producers and sounding extremely modern and accessible. props to him. i can see how a dre beat or 2 would of been the icing on the cake and made this a classic cd.

Wow.  I'm impressed.  I already had this album on my must-buy list for the summer, but this makes me even more excited about it.  The only thing that's kinda ironic to me is that "Why We Thugs" is pretty much the weakest beat on that sampler, yet it's the lead single.  I'm feeling "Game Lord" and "Stop Snitchin" WAY more...those would be good 2nd choices.

One other thing...Lil Jon's back to his shouting/chanting bullshit on "Go To Church", which is the LAST thing I wanted to hear.  I wouldn't have minded him lacing Cube a hyphy joint or two, but this is pretty much a straightforward attempt at the crunk shit he does on his album...it's most def outta place.
