OK let's start with music. If it wasn't for Ohio, there would be no such thing as west coast hip hop. Y'all would have no beats. What state do you think all the old funk groups like Ohio Players, Bootsy Collins, Roger Troutman, Zapp, Ojays, etc came from? Yup, you guessed it...Ohio.
