Hispanic Leaders Speak Out!
virtuoso:
Javy as an american you should be concerned by such open hate, a hate which the media for the most part ignores and that the government openly seems to encourage. You acknowledge it has been happening for 16 years and nothing has happening that is a very ignorant and naive comment to make, disgusting slews of hate thrown around like it was no big deal. Yet these people are allowed into the "mainstream" where their influence can grow, with vile racism not condemned as you can see with comments made by high profile people then what happens when they have more political power?
WestCoasta:
wow, these quotes make these people look real smart...

Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas; "We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population . . . I love it. They are shitting in their pants with fear. I love it."
So there you have someone in university allowed to say this, can you imagine if a white person has said this? it's like they are allowing this to continue to tip white people over the edge and instigate a bloody war

What fucking mainstream? This is the first time I heard this shit. This is truely unbelieveable. If it's really true that latinos are going to "take over", I would have gotten the memo, the government would have done something about it, etc. This ain't mainstream shit. It's truely an exxageretion of the entire latino community.

--- Quote from: Dynamic on April 27, 2006, 02:15:43 PM ---On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country. They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. flags were held upside down. As the match progressed, supporters of the U.S. team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon. Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. players before and after the match. The coach of the U.S. team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."
