u should check out some trip hop

- sneaker pimps, portishead, massive attack, air, goldfrapp

check out Mars Volta and De Facto, they're the same band members - mars volta is some crazy experimental rock, de facto is kinda dub reggae. If u like reggae u should check out Easy All-Stars - Dub Side of The Moon (It's a reggae remix of DSOTM by Pink Floyd).

SOme other shit that will trip you out is Aphex Twin or Squarepusher, maybe Bjork's shit off "Medulla"

If u wanna chill out to some ethereal music, listen to Sigur Ros "Agaetis Byrjun" CD, it's fucking tight

If u wanna chill out to some folk-type shit, listen to Devendra Banhart, Iron & Wine, or CocoRosie

Other recommendations: The Doors - always a good choice. Jefferson Airplane, Santana's "Abraxas" album, and DEFINITELY Mr. Bungle's "California" album, but it's not that chill, its actually a trip.
