the single was actually doing well but the label really fucked up with him
And yes the the guest were some big names but only for the westcoast audience. Warren G, Slip Capone, Hittman, Quik arent really names that caught the attention of a non westcoast fan. Snoop, X and Nate of course are but that still doesnt mean it will sell crazy. So no, Im not surpised at alll that it didnt sell shit
Can't blame Elektra. Busta and Missy always did well with them. Everyones talking about his production line up... But really like that Detox is not coming dude said:QuoteAnd yes the the guest were some big names but only for the westcoast audience. Even Snoop, X and Nate aren't gonna really push an album, unless they're on the first single (at least Nate). So, yea, he had a lot of people, but the only draw was really Dre (and look at the wack ass shit he gave him).
Snoop was on his first single, and that Dre beat was a joke

Wasn't the Dre beat on "The Way I Am" a leftover from "Knoc's Landing"?
i definatly prefer the Knoc's Landing advance over the The Way I Am album...
