Why does everyone hate on Canibus?

Canibus have put himself in a nogain-situation. After that album with Wyclef flopped, he should be moving on to new producers or atleast reinvent himself. Instead he starts dissing in every direction, making him sound like a little crying bitch. LL knocked him out after that diss, he continues dissing LL, Wyclef, now Beanie & Eminem, so no-one really wants to work with him anymore, and he lost much of his image through this process. He's left with relatively unknown producers & unknown cameos on his album. He burnt a lot of bridges, and had to start from scratch again, almost like a new rapper with 100 demos inside his trenchcoat.

I see your point, now what would happen if Canibus, as he says in "I Gotta Story To Tell" signs with Suge?  

I just think that Canibus needs direction, kinda what Dre was to Snoop.

It seems that he can be capable of so much more but its just not happening.  Man has a sick flow and has a crazy vocabulary.  Who can honestly beat him in a battle?

Canibus was going a good rout when he used to hang with LL. He'd be tight on Def Jam, but since then he has been fucked. I think he'd be perfect for Rawkus, imagion with their roster, adding Canibus to their producers, it'd be a match made in hip-hop heaven. He needs the underground sound. 2000 B.C. was not bad, but his rhymes were missed directed. Just get someone to point him in the right direction, and I think Rawkus would be a natural fit.

I wouldnt say that Canibus's albums completely suck! I thought 2000 B.C. kicked ass. Yeah his last album was lacking. I think you are mostly right though about him needing to hook up with the right producers. LL did not win that battle though.....

2000BC was amazing imo...Can-I-Bus was pretty tight and his new album was garbage with an exception of 3 or 4 tracks...lookout for 2 new canibus cd's this year though, one will be released with some unreleased shit from an ex-lable and he is currently working on another so, we'll see alot more of him this year, peace.
