whats crackin yall??

 ive bee thinking about this for a while but, when are we gonn see the west back on top?
why were we on top
from 92-96 we were running thangs. suge built a westcoast empire that had clout nationwide. definatley had the money for promotion .we were getting alot of airplay on the radio.
because of the row... alot of majors were jumping on the bandwagon and started signing wca(westcoast artist) like crazy (warren g, richie rich, jayo felony)  they even went after bay artist such as luniz, mac mall, e 40. they new we were young, fresh, and new.

why we fell

suge became careless,gets locked up...pac passes...dre leaves gangsta rap...and wca became individuals who couldnt hold it down by themselves. slowly but surely def jam starts investing in eastcoast artist like jay z and dmx . everybodys sales drop on the westcoast accept pac (snoop,mack 10, daz,kurupt) the jayo felonys and richie riches get dropped...before you know it with no major westcoast label has the resources to compete with tha east...


present time

now we have a beloved westcoast artist making great music again but nobody is buying!! :-/  why?? aside from dre who is gonna sell regardless and snoop who hasnt been able to sell more than 2 mil(which is still alot) nobody is gettin that support..

my opinion
the west is full of individuals that dont have the money, or the majors to get behind them to put them on that stage to blow them up
no major westcoast labels is the reason...who is the only one that can save us?? suge knight

maybe most of yall wont agree, but i think he's on to something big he has a stable of hungry artist that he is going to put the money behind to get them the promotion they need.. im tired as hell right now, hopefully i made sense

i think that if nwa, snoop, detox all drop relitively soon then west coast can be saved.  since two of the three prolly wont happend for a while i see the west coast goin into a little slump for a while till some big projects hit the stores.
