me too, im starting to see hella people postin with less than ten posts.

yeah this forum has been slow for me (when replying) for like 2 weeks now. i type my reply and hit the button and it takes like 20-30 seconds to go through. all the other forums i go on have no problem nor do other websites load slow. 

how are things now... i've been trying to improve performance.. the search was a major killer.. and some guests were hammering hte forum as i said in the other thread 5 posts below this one.. no search needed NIK hehe

i have definitely made site performance better in a major way.

just understand that changing things is an incremental and experimental process.

Hey there no way you can limit the amount of search one makes like Bx.

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between searches. Please try again in 20 seconds.

Just switch the forum over to vBulletin

no there isn't yet.

the 'next' version of the forum software has a much improved and optimised search system however its still in beta..

not all the issues we're experiencing are search related anyways..

hmm its a little btter. i have to wait about 5 seconds until it posts. is it jsut because there is more activity?

EDIT: hey i tohught it was quicker but i counted how long it took to post this and it was 26 seconds. i really dont care that much, not too big of a deal.

It's still taking a long ass time to reply and edit messages...Are you sure it was because of the search, because there was definitely a time when we had the search and it was going at a good speed. Maybe you should update servers or something...This site has been going through problems since it opened...I said it best in my Bez diss.
