Ok, so I have 2 hard drives on my computer, one with my OS, and the other one will all of my files where I keep all my music. So my computer was being a piece of shit, I had a grip of spyware and all that, so I decided to reinstall windows. I figured it wouldn't effect the hard drive with the music on it cuz I wasn't reinstalling Windows on THAT hard drive. But it did. Once windows was reinstalled, I clicked on my music folder on the other hard drive and it said "This folder has become corrupt and cannot be accessed." I said fuck, and then restarted it. Then that chkdisk utility ran itself before windows started again. It took a while and it kept "retrieving orphaned files." I thought everything was good, but here's the really gay part. I went to listen to some of my music, and while some of it works fine, a lot of the music now plays like this. For instance, I play Next - Beauty Queen, and the song will start out like normal, but then half way through the song, Roscoe - Head To Toe starts playing, on the same file too! Its like that "Next - Beauty Queen.mp3" file is now a file that has half of Beauty Queen on it, then part of Head To Toe, then part of "Its That Time Again" off the same Roscoe album after that too. I have no idea what the fuck I can do, cuz I know all the data is still on my hard drive, but is it permanently fucked like this? Anyone got any ideas?
