David Hasslehof is exactly what I would be if I were in his position.

Lets look @ his life so far.

1. He's born incredibly good looking.
2. He has a gifted physique and has been able to keep himself in perfect shape well into his 40's.
3. Women all over the world love him.
4. He spent his 20's in a cool kitchy television show that has cult status even though he wasn't any particularly good actor or anything.
5. He spent his 30's producing and starting in a television show about female life guards running on the beach in swimsuits, and met, starred, and slept with some of the most beautiful women alive.
6. he's fabulously wealthy (prob. worth 2 or 3 hundred million dollars)
7. In Germany he sells platinum on every album he puts out...


If that was my life, I would spend my days making fun of my good fortune and taking nothing seriously, having a great time, spending my money, treating people good and making fun of myself any time the opportunity arose.  Lets face it: this guy hit the jackpot, he knows it, and he's not afraid of people calling it like they see it.

More power to him

Plus he is an alcoholic or had at least alcohol problems that were severe enough to put him into rehabilitation.  I think you can see it in his face in this video. He just looks old, I think thatīs the result of his addiction.

So maybe he has all the money, all the girls, the looks etc. but  when your private life is dictated by alcohol then I imagine that itīs not as funny as it seems.   He got divorced like a year ago, didnīt he?  I wouldnīt be surprised if itīs because of alcohol.. but I donīt know.

Anyway. I like him. I never saw him as the good looking playboy that he could have been because he always had some humor to him.
