its been a while since Ill spit but this board been quiet/
like everybodies out doin some other sort of rhymin'/
i remember back in the day when this site was packed/
..battles everyday for the likes of rap/
everybody was quick to spit and drop their bars/
but when it came to votes it was like a walk to mars/
but still had alotta laughs and magnificent times/
bLaDe, ToNe and Kill, infinite59/
and a bunch of other cats i aint seen in a while/
Melanin will reign again wheres Elite, Cloud 9?/
Kingz and CSN and all the crews that lived/
made up by it's MC's that used to spit/
used to rip, and made readin' Keys worthwhile/
we're vital to this art like raymond kurzweil/
lets burst styles, and bring back a few of the greatest/
bring back the love of hiphop in lieu of the hatin'/
