Much respect to Premier. A great D.J. and working with Dre to get that Rakim album out. now imagion if 'Pac would team with Rakim and Dre and Premier would produce that... truly Oh My God. Premier though, great producer, should update a little, but what ever. And I think his best track was Unbelievable for Notorious B.I.G. on Ready to Die. Biggie and Premier were the shit together no doubt.

Premo has done some of my fav. songs ever, and is close to being my fav. producer; however i put Dre ahead of him because Dre has changed his sound (Nwa, Death Row, and now) whereas Premo has relied on the same formula.  Sure Premo's work on Gangstarr albums are a little more daring, but still i can't call him the most talented producer unless he can change the game like Dre has done a couple times.

alot of people who have worked with him have broken down his work process and you can even tell by listening to his work , it's pretty simple

Alright. He is still a producer. And who the hell cares if he has a simple work formula. His beats are always the realest & dopest. He holds real hip-hop alive with scratches and samples, which were the foundation for hip-hop back in the days in NY. He never fakes or sells out, like Pop Dre so frequently these days.

You do that. I'ma still say he is a producer. We do not need to argue about this.

Dre sells out? What, you mean because he did a track with Mary J. or the Eve-track? He owed Mary for the "The message"-track, and Eve is a rapper last time I checked. ::) ::) ::) ::)
