Technically, Zidane's headbutt was just a foul that the refs didn't see and therefore there's no red card to be given. It's like when there's an offside the refs don't see and therefore an offside goal is scored, they can't say the goal isn't supposed to count 2 minutes after, because on video it's obvious that it was an offside goal lol. Same with Zidane's headbutt.

Yeah. Or maybe really the 4th man saw it. We don't know the truth, but yes, your version looks realistic, and it's what i think happened. But you gotta view it from FIFA's prospective. They are so against violence and the whole world saw the header, they couldn't let a WC Final be ruined by a ref mistake THAT BIG. It was huge. It's still a mistake, if they did it. I mean i'm a lawyer, and i believe that even if you wanna arrest a mafioso boss, you gotta do it by respecting the rules. But it's FIFA's fault, and they can always say the 4th man saw everything.
