advice needed: going wireless with my xbox live connection

just need some advice on what kind of wireless router i should go with?  a regular/good wireless router or a gaming router?  does it make a difference?  i've always used a wired set up but now i'm getting tired of those wires in my room so i'm getting the xbox360 wireless adaptor for sure.

any past experiences would help just fine if you have any...i'll be sure to prop you guys.

packets drop easily on wireless, it can be awesome at times and then a pain in the arse at the same time

try makes like d-link, linksys, netgear, belkin

those are very popular makes of network products

never heard of "gaming routers" so i couldnt tell u anything about them, sorry
