What Up West Coast. We’re back at y’all with an exclusive sit down with one of the hottest New West Rappers out today, Taje. Representing a number of movements, including THUG LIFE, WarDoggz, Lost Soulz, the New West and of course his own LNS Ent., Taje has just released a blazing new CD called “HotBox The Mixtape Classic.” With 21 tracks of some of Cali’s finest Hip Hop, the mixtape covers many topics and styles, street to life, west to east. WestCoastRydaz caught up with Taje to discuss the mixtape, take a smoke break, talk about the New West, hear his thoughts on WestCoastRydaz, and much more in this in depth 40 minute interview.

With the release of “Hot Box,” which also includes a free bonus DVD, Taje is set to make a strong mark on the West Coast scene, as his rapping skills are shown in their entirety alongside guests like Bishop Lamont, Roccett, Scipio, Problem, The Frontlinerz, Noni Spitz, Mopreme Shakur, Macadoshis, Big Syke and many others. We were recently with Taje as he performed some songs from the mixtape at a car show with Scipio, The Hunned, Noni Spitz and Geo Brown and the music is nothing but the standard you’ve come to expect from the New West Movement. The majority of the production was handled by Dae One, with other contributors including Klasic, Problem, The System and more. We have 4 audio previews for y’all today from the mixtape, including the three songs we world premiered for you guys from January to March right here on West Coast Rydaz, and a track featuring Taje, The Lost Angel Scipio, Compton’s Problem and Noni Spitz letting everyone know what we’ve been letting yall know for years, that the New West is the biz!
