if its done right the stereo mix improves...
AEOM rem. sounds to me a lil better here and there - it sound even nicer.. but the mixing and mastering of the originals is already amazing...

go and search for a used MATW, it should also be possible to get a new one

I don't think it needs it.

You would have to have a very clinical ear to notice any difference if it was remastered.

Besides, remastering is for record labels who need to make a quick buck off their back catalogue...

Yeah same here I always rather have the original albums... I'm glad I still have the original Thug Life, MATW, AEOM and Makaveli cds...  8)

It really depends on when the CD came out.  Probably any CD made after '96, you won't know the difference, but with earlier albums it actually makes a big difference.  Ever heard Eminem's remastering of "Holla If Ya Hear Me"?  Even half-deaf cats can tell that that version is of better quality than the version from the original "Strictly 4 My Niggaz" album.

^Exactly...I don't about the other ppl's ears, but I know I heard big fuckin difference when I heard Ready To Die remastered compared to the original...like you said I think it depends more on when the cd came out...I think you hitted it on the head when u said anything made after 96...remasterin won't prolly make a difference.
