It was a big letdown. I never saw so many people walk out of the theater before. The movie got booed too after it was over.

Me, personally, I enjoyed it and I was entertained especially towards the end. I can understand why so many people were upset. After Heat and Collateral, you'd think Mann would come up with a Miami Vice perfectly mixed with character development and great action scenes. He completely dropped the ball on the character develoment part. The action scenes (trailer park and final scene) were great though.

Every time they did a close-up on Colin Farrel, I couldn't stop laughing. Dude looked like a 70's porn star/Hulk Hogan.

You saw it on opening day, people were most likely really eager to check out the film.

film wasnt as bad as some of yall r describing it. i was dissappointed to a certain extent due to the actors and mann but i dont think i wouldve walked outta the theatre. no one walked outta theatre where i went to see it. action scenes were very well done but the character devlepment like many of yall have said was just not there really. would give it a 7/10.

I don't get ehy people were walking out either. I think there was just too must hype around it surrounding Mann's work and people really took it personal lol. Like I said, I was entertained and I enjoyed it. I just won't be buying this on DVD like I bought Heat and Collateral.

Heat was very, very good but it was like a Carlitos Way for me I liked it a whole lot and I own it but its a step down from scarface, true romance, goodfellas, and godfather imo

i thought that movie was gay, there was no chemistery between fox and farrel, like they didn't know each other. There was a ferrari at the beginning, i was expecting a hot poursuit or something... nothing happenned. Then there were fast boats, i expected some action with police boats, gun fights, helicopter poursuit. But nothing happenned with the boat. The trailer park part was cool, the explosion was nice, the final was hot too.
