yeah he may be dope, but def jam & jay arent letting him appear on any dipset releases. juelz only did one hook on killa season, and they had to pay big bucks for that.

He's not paying Dipset no mind as far as putting their names on wax. He's doing the opposite, which is not mentioning their names at all, and using his powers in the industry to make sure they don't get exposure anywhere. Whether you think Jay's tactics are dirty or not, he is a smart guy, while Cam's acting like a little boy, letting everyone know he's got a problem.
If Cam has a legitimate beef with Jay, making it a public affair, like calling a press conference to announce your ill feeling towards another man, is anyway you look at it, an attempt to get his name out there more.

Ultimatley, it backfired for The Dips, cuz Jay shutting them down from the radio & video, without even having to say anything in public. And he's only letting Juelz do MINIMAL work with the Dips.

Dude Im sorry but your way out of whack here, Jay aint in control of the Dips, Jimmy and Cam are the C.E.O's of Diplomat records and they run the show.  Im sorry but I have lost ALL respect for Jay-z during this whole thing, he knows he cant fuck with Cam on the mic anymore cause he would get murked, so instead he pussy's out with no response and opts to pull strings behind the scenes, what a bitch.  Jay always viewed Cam as a threat, he was always jealous and still is to this day

Yes Jimmy & Cam run the show at their little Diplomat records, but your biggest, hottest, most mainstream acceptable star, Juelz, is signed to DEF JAM. ( Jay-Z runs that label, but you already know that. ) Jay-Z says that the ONLY way Juelz is jumping on any Dipset release, is if Jimmy & Cam pay up. And believe me, it's not cheap. Cam could only afford one hook for an entire album.

Again, Jay is to old & established to beef on wax with a petty, childish rapper like Cam'ron. That corporate shit might be dirty, but it is way more effective to shutting down the opponent. What does Dipset have, a couple of fools on the streets. Jay is not affected at all by this, in fact it would be foolish, from a business standpoint to stoop to Cam;ron level.

How would Cam be a threat to Jay at all anyways?
Jay=fucks Beyonce: Cam'ron=fucks Eritarian Dipset groupies
Jay=millions of records sold, head of billion dollar record label, owns own million dollar label, owns a portion of the NJ Nets: Cam'ron=2 million labels sold, head of label with shaky distribution instability, can't even afford his hottest artist to appear on his own label's releases.

Maybe Cam'ron & Jimmy should take some notes from Jay, and learn how to really be succesful.

Holy shit, did you just call Cam'ron a young stallion? I hate to say it, but that's the gayest thing anyone has ever said ever on this site. And you saying he's fly as fuck. Matter of fact, didn't you call Cam'ron handsome in another thread? Just because you SAY no homo, doesnt mean that u arent thinking about it like that.

Yeah they might make some money of there indy stuff, but nowhere even close to how much Jay has. You ignore that Jay owns Roc-A-Fella, Roc-A-Wear, runs Def Jam, owns part of the Nets. Jimmy & cam couldnt match Jiggas dollars if they put em together, but you Dipset fans are like Westside159 ignoring the facts and hearing what you want to hear.

FACT: The Dipset garners very little respect on the streets of the Eastcoast, where thye are from. Youre from Cali, putting these clowns on such a pedestal, when they aren't even welcome in the hoods they "claim" on the gangsta ass recirds. Yall Westcoast dudes are funny falling for these cats. Maybe you should take em, because very few people want them out here.

Except for 16-19 year old wiggers, naturally.

Philly, nobody is ignoring the facts. You're throwing out random facts and accomplishments by Jigga, but you're not even going into detail

Jay is running Def Jam, but none o fhis artists are selling. He's gonna run the label into the ground if the execs don't remove him or unless he steps his game up. It's getting so bad, that Jay is actually coming out of retirement just so he can boost his companies record sales and make up for his artist's flops.

As for owning the Nets, LMFAO, moving on....

The only true gem he got is RocaWear. But really, how much input did he have in its success? It's pretty obvious the nigga ain't putting any input into the company other than financial input since he's rockin' ugly ass sandals with jeans. I heard Dame was the brains behind that company anyways before Jigga turned his back on him.

As for Jay being smart for pulling that behind the scene shit on the Dips: the nigga needs to make up his mind. Is he gonna be a rapper or an exec. You gonna pull all that behind the scenes garbage, then come out and do a record, but remain quiet about the man that shitted on you on wax? It ain't about puttin' anyones name out, it's about defending yours.

Jay is a snake. He doesn't wanna defend himself. He's just bitter at Cam because Cam is still int he grind, hustlin', doing it all himself. Jigga had mad help getting to where he's at and basically had everything handed to him. You can't see this shit? He saw how Cam was gettin' down and it made him furious. So when Dame made Cam President of the Roc, he was beside himself. Not only did he vow to ruin Killas career, he fucked over his own partner, his friend, Dame, the true brains behind the Roc Dynasty anyways.

If y'all got respect for a backstabber and coward like Sean Carter, then that's fine. Real muthafuckaz like me and Spice just can't get down with that bitch made nigga. Now that ain't bullshit, it's all fuckin' facts.

Now I'll wait for some Jigga stan to come up in here, ignore what I said, and sugar-coat and overhype everything Jay has done.

I'm not gonna lie, you made some excellent points there Sik. I see that Def Jam isn't doing so well, but he does still have acts that are pushing units like Rhianna, Jeezy, and Im sure Rick Ross will sell well too.

As far as on the mic, Cam'ron can in no way, shape or form see Jay. Jay-Z might be extremely overrated ( maybe one of the most ever ), but he's still twice the MC Cam has ever been. I don't think Jay would reply to Cam, because Cam acts childish to me, and why publicly stoop to Cam'ron's level. I've stated that doing the behind the scences shut down of Dipset is shady, however, it is the most effective way of getting what you want. Jay's basically blackballing them, like 50 did too D-Block, Terror Squad, Joe Budden, Game, etc. Yes, it is shady, and I'm not supporting it as if it were something I'd do, but it has negatively affected all the blackballed artists careers. Examples, Styles album being indef. delayed, Fat Joe's album flopped, Joe Budden cant release nothing, Game's shaky situation at Aftermath. )

The same thing is gonna happen to Dipset, especially with them not being able to fully utilize Juelz, like they used too. Cam'ron's album sales fell well below his last effort, and I gotta think Jay is laid back, laughing about this.

I don't know what the LMFAO about the Nets thing is, I know he's just a minority owner, but that still equals out to alot of money. Plus NJ is a perinnial playoff team, and a move to New York will only increse revenue. Jay may also not have had much input into the success of Roc-A-Wear, bottom line is, he's gets paid. People buy it for the fashion, but when you think Roc-A-Wear, it is immediatley associated with Jay-Z. People are not thinking about Dame.
