Why did Eazy and Jerry want to fucc Ice Cube out of the money they owed him?

He wrote lyrics for most of them niggaz and was the standout in the group...Cube said that Eazy and Jerry eventually paid him after he left, but why let him leave at all?

We could have possibly had more classic N.W.A., but I guessed it worked out cuz we got 3 classic Ice Cube solo albums...
