What Ever Happened to Slip Capone?..
« on: August 27, 2006, 03:33:46 PM »
What has happened to Slip Capone? Ive always thought he was dope and always thought he came tight on every track he's featured on but why has he never progressed to releashing a project/album?

For real? he was down with Knoc & L.A. Confidential Records for a while. He spit fire on most Knoc tracks he appeared on. As a matter of fact, does anyone know what happened to L.A. Confidential Records altogether? Did they close down?

yes, but I believe Knoc STILL has own label believe it or not. Lol, now i'm not too sure how many people enjoyed "Return Of The Hustler", but I actually found a review for it (Not written by a "fan", an actual website that does album reviews) and the guy says, he doesn't no how an artist can have a bunch of rappers signed, after only dropping 1 album. So it seems that, all those guys on the record (Soup, Treedog, Lord Lucky, Lil T, Aziz, Macguiness, Jpeace, Maintain, Krown City) are signed to Knoc's label. Here is a link to a very short inter view were Knoc answers a question to why the album came out on indie label Sonic Wave International. He says
that he has a partnership with his co. Executive Records and Sonic Wave international. Here's the link.

So, it seems that Knoc still has his own label. But, what I don't understand, is why he has this label with Sonic Wave & not Treacherous? and also what I find wierd is the quality of music that he makes from the 2 different labels. Althought not much has been heard from him out of the Treacherous camp, the quality of music was 10x better then the music he released on sonic wave.
