this would really be some crazy shit if the Mets and Yankees met in the fall classic...that would be nuts!
I dont want that, b/c its not a mets world series, its a skankee one.  Lets just say if the mets beat the skanks in the series, the headlines in ny wouldnt read mets win series it would read yanks lose series.

Yeah The NL isnt really posing a threat right now, Stl and NYM are overated imo.
how are the mets overated.  Our lineup can go toe to toe with any AL lineup.  We have one of the best if not the best bullpen in baseball even with sanchez out for the season.  We got a strong bench.  The only weakness is our staff every team in contention has serious questions about there rotation.

Mets are crazy this season. They just got Shawn Green too so i think they're definetly going all the way.

Nah their pitching isnt good enough, I think the Yanks, White Sox, Tigers, and Twins are all better then the Mets.
The tigers are one and done in the playoffs... any rotation with kenny rogers in its post season rotation is doomed.

Yankees 1st AL East
76-49

Runs Scored 709 Tied For1st

&

Mets 1st NL East

77-48

Have won 6 in a row

Not one team in NL east scares any of the teams in the AL except for the Mets. Dodgers are hot...but i doubt they can keep this up when the playoffs come around. Mets have an easy ride to the WOrld Series if they play well.

Yankees just beat the shit out of the Red Sox...IN BOSTON. We've been behind them almost the whole season..with injuries and all that shit...and they still could'nt run away from us. The rest of the AL should worry. Only team im worried about is Oakland (3-6 vs), they've beaten us down....White Sox (4-2 vs) and Tigers (3-1 vs yanks) aint got nothing on the Yankees, we've had their number. Next week we play Tigers...we'll whoop their ass.

BUT it's all about who's hot in October...and thats been proven over and over agian

too bad niether of them will win the World Series
