Original Next Episode song
« on: December 27, 2001, 01:20:37 AM »
"Next Episode" was pulled off Doggystyle at the last minute cause Warren G. used that same sample for "Runnin Wit No Breaks" off his Regulator album.  Dre did not want a beat from Snoops album to sound like anything from Warrens album, so it was pulled. To get a good CD quality version of "Next Episode" it would have to come from straight outta the Death Row (or Tha Row, excuse me) vaults. I have "G'z Up Hoez Down" in CD quality - I can burn you a copy.

I know that now u'll kill me and ban me from this board, but.. i cant understand why u all want this track so bad in cdq!

I mean.. fuck that! Now we got 2 tracks instead of 1! And the Warren G one is good too! With Jah (i love her) and the Twinz.

BTW u mean that Warren G used the same beat of Dr.Dre or what? Cause in the credits of the booklet there is no "SAMPLED FROM..." etc..

It´s not exactly the same beat, Dre got strings n´ shit in his version and personally i think that version is better cuz i prefer to hear Snoop & Dre spit verses rather than Warren G & Tha Twins.

Peace
