What was Dubs beef with qtip? Did q have beef with him personally or just against "gangster shit" in general?

I never heard any beef with Q-Tip. Common is the only dude who's mentioned in that song and it's also an indirect shot at Masta Ace with calling the song Westside Slaughterhouse. I don't know anything about Q-Tip though, I do recall hearing around the way around 96 or so that Q-Tip talked some trash about the west coast on a mix tape but I never heard. I did hear Q-Tip give Ice Cube props in a Tribe Called Quest interview done by the dude who used to host Video Soul on BET around 94 or so.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

WC dissed Q on Bow Down because he supposedly said in a interview that he did not like gangsta rap because of its lyrics. 2pac also said something similar about this in a interview (In His Own Words) that Q-Tip was dissing west coast rap while he was in jail.

His subject matter has changed. His flow at times can get a little off track but yeah he is still one of the best. Hopefully we aint got to wait another 6-7 years for another album from him.
