I say nigga, but only when I'm joking around or imitating someone. It's not a part of my vocab. I really hate when people use it in their everyday vocab, it sounds terrible IMO, but to each their own.

Yes, I feel that black people complain about getting stereotyped too much when they actually do these things and rather than change their behavior so people can't say that they do the stereotype they just keep doing it.  It has just bothered me lately because I have noticed a lot of things about the black people on my campus.  As far as black people represented on campus I feel like if I don't do things that no one else will.  For example this mentorship program, they told me not many black people applied to do it but at the same time if they had to shut it down for lack of interest the same black people who didn't involve themselves with it would get mad

look it up in the dictionary, it has the same meaning no matter what context it's used in.  there's nothing positive about and there's lots of other words you can use to refer to friends besides that one
