For NBA 2K7, do they have the rosters updated online frequently? Also, can you modify the CPU's rosters during a dynasty/season?

They do roster updates (2ksports is better wit hthe updates than EA). I only think you can only control 8 teams in dynasty mode.

I bought NBA 2K7 today....I should have asked for a discount since the only had the one left had to come with the display case, but whatever...

I am gettin used to it, and startin to like it some after my 2nd game. I haven't even owned a basketball game that wasn't NBA Live since NBA Showtime back in 99, so it's weird playing a different game. I think I might have ended up likin Live 07 anyway, and I didn't like 06 much at all when I first had it. But it's whatev.....the main reason I leaned towards 2K7 is because you can import rookies, and NCAA comes out next month. March Madness isn't even droppin until February!!

Great choice!  I know its weird playing a new game when you are used to the Nba Live series but stick with it cause you definitely made the right choice.  Wait till you get into your franchise and you feel comfortable playing, it is so much fun.  There are so many reasons why the 2k series is the best BBall game, the gameplay and graphics are great.  Also the player ratings our perfect.  They have Kobe as the best rated player, Brand is around the top 5 and Jermaine is around 9 or 10.  The ratings are perfect.

I feel you...personally, some of the ratings are kind of suspect though. Wade, Kobe, and Lebron are all a 98...I might give Lebron and Wade 97 or 96. And they have Kwame as being a damn 72...he wasn't THAT sorry and it's obvious he's gettin better, but they made a grip of rookies a LOT better than him. But yeah...it's startin to get fun. I still keep doin dumb shit though....like tryin to crossover with the R stick, when it is shoot on here.

WTF is this about.........you have to import the rookie class in before the season starts? I had planned on waiting til NCAA came out, and then importing at the end of the season like I do on Madden 2007. Now, it's no fuck'n point in me doin a season if it's gonna give these fake ass rookies this year. I am surprised that it gives real ace n shit, but wtf???

I didn't try it yet. It asked me to import before the season even started, so since I didn't have a file to upload, it automatically put a grip of fake dudes there. I think it happened when I had the "Import roster" option turned on..and I guess I just skipped the screen or somethin when it came up askin to import. So I was thinkin about simmin a season to see, but I donno how long that will take...but either way, this year will have some fake rookies.

It might be because you have to scout the rookies over the course of the season, so it could A. have just needed to put some rookies in there for the sake of putting them there, and will ask you to import again before the draft or B. You'll just have to wait until NCAA comes out to start a NBA franchise.

To tell you the truth i've tried NBA2K7 for PS2 and i'm a little bit disappointed. I mean gameplay and options are great, and it's an improvement over the very good NK6, but the graphic is basically the same. I've heard the XBOX 360 version is totally different, that's probably the real deal (but i don't have a 360 so i can't try it). Anyway i've tried NBA LIVE too, and 2K7 is def better. No fucking doubt.

Man....why the hell is College Hoops 2K7 not comin for PS2 til fuckin December 11th, but it's already out for XBox and 360? That's hella bullshit...I waited til yesterday to start a new season so I can draft rookies in, and every store told me that bullshit.
