G-Unit/Shady/Aftermath records sales hit all time low, why? = THE GAME (Read On)

Game has very little to do with G-Unit's falling sales, if anything.  G-Unit is just gettin played out, it's that simple.  It was the same way with Ja - getting killed on wax by 50, Em, Dre, Busta, and Obie definitely was embarrassing, but what really killed Ja was just the fact that he'd been doing the same shit over and over for the past 5 years and people were getting tired of it.  Your argument that he's responsible for Busta and Obie fliopping doesn't make sense cause he never beefed with them or dissed them.

And like other people have said, let's see how well Game does before we draw conclusions one way or the other.  His own label fell apart beneath him, his entire hood now claims his gangsta image was something they helped fabricate, he makes himself look like a bitch cause he puts out a new mixtape dedicated to beef every week, and people have been questioning whether or not he could shine on his own without Dre and 50 ever since he came out.  Game's still got a lot to prove.

I think you dont have to be a genius to know that the only reason Buck,Banks and Game too (and Yayo too) sold becuase of 50 Cents hype. Just like none of the Nsync sold as much as Justin Timberlake, or DTP members as much as Ludacros or DPG as much as Snoop....

The fact is Game shouldnt even talk about GUnit "flops". When he has a label when 3 artist go 1x plat and more, one does 700.000, a group album going 2x plat, a soundtrack going 2x times plat and 2 artists (Mobb Deep and Banks) probably going gold after some time ONLY THEN can he be such a cocky idiot like now.

Good point as even after he releases this next album unless his label artists are amazing then he aint gonna be seein his artists sell.  Games been too worried to release any bws stuff because he knows its likely none of it would go plat.

No of course not, but if you look at trends, people have been buying less and less each year. This hasn't been overnight, it's been gradual over the past 5 years or so.

No of course not, but if you look at trends, people have been buying less and less each year. This hasn't been overnight, it's been gradual over the past 5 years or so.

The growth of MP3 players means the mainstream public don't want to buy the original CD anymore; with faster broadband connections more widespread, it takes 10 minutes to get a fully zipped album with cover art and tracklists ready to transfer directly to your iPod. CDs are an afterthought.

I think Game will feel the pinch too...............He won't flop, but he won't sell as much as his first album. I do think this album will be better 'cause I didn't like the last one that much.

The constant push backs with albums don't help sales, they release a video and then the album gets pushed back and all the buzz is lost. Plus iTunes and album leaks don't help.
