You guys are absolutely, positively clueless.  Republicans aren't against stem cell research.  They're against growing or cloning children to do embryonic stem cell research. 

Here's an example.  Say your brother dies from whatever disease.  Doctors tell you that after he's dead, they'll take his body and bring it artificially back to life to a place where cells will grow within his organs and his spine.  Then they'll use those cells to do research with. 

You would never do that.  The problem comes down to abortion.  You're so fucking stupid you can't see that a child is a child whether it's born or not.  You actually think that when a child passes out of a mother's body, that's when it becomes a child.  It's alright to grow one in a dish, because that's not a child since it didn't pass through a utereus?  What kind of stupid, right in your face dumbass logic is that?

The only other opinion you could possibly have to explain why you think it's alright is that you're o.k. with killing children to keep grown people alive. 

So i'm going to assume you just don't feel a cloned embryo is a child.  You're wrong.
