well, I bought the mixtape and I always try to support the artist and everything.  But in a way I kind of see DEKO's point.  I mean aren't mixtapes sold on the street and through the internet because the artists on them didn't take the time to pay other artists' sample clearances to use the production featured on the album?  And aren't they more to create a buzz than to be consider an official release like a retail album?  Bear in mind, I did pay of the mixtape.  I'm just posing a question.

Deko, i am asking you nicely to take down the lil eazy e mixtape from your site
you DO NOT have permission to post nor link nor anything to your site
anything to do with DJ Strong, DJ Warrior, or Lil Eazy E.

Please do this so we don't have to take this further.

You know what? i fuck with the music industry to and i understand how downloading effects an artist and DJ BUT the fact of the matter is
downloading is somthing you got to accept its never going to die the Internet is world wide its a universal thing there is no one to control the Internet someone will always bootleg someone will always download. Mixtapes are 3 to 5 dollars for a reason there for promotional use not for cash. The mixtapes promote the album and if the album is that good people will buy it when it comes out because
CDQ with todays sound systems sound alot better then MP3 quality i mean even when it says DL CDQ it doesnt sound as good
i recently bought a redigitally remasterd copy of the chronic and it shits on my "cdq" chronic i had on my burnt disc
now DJ Strong i know your trying to get your paper but Kick roccs homie you cant really take action especially when Lil E is rapping over OTHER beats on most of the songs and does he have clearence under law to? if not you cant take any action cause in acctuality the one who can be hurt is YOU, Mixtapes to an extent are viewd as bootlegs , ask yourself why mixtape stores get raided by the feds?
Secondly fam, Other websites have it for download to wether you can see it or not thats another question but the honest to God truth is there are message boards and Blogs all over the Internet with links to the mixtape.

Lil E's music is dope and if its so dope people will buy it because quality is much better when you buy a CD so calm down

yep,
and for me, the most important part is: MIXTAPES wasnt ment to be for making money...

if youre an artist nowadays, why would you want to do money off mixtapes?

if i understand it right, you do a mixtape to creat a buzz, to get heard, you give away that shit,
if youre selling it on the streets imho its okay to get the money for the inlay, CD, case, etc... so it should be something around $3 max... let it be $5...
and then if you wanna reach out to ppl all over the planet, to be heard in, japan, in australia, spain, germany, its only logical to me, that you let them download this mixtape for free, cause the only cost that you have as an artist is the webspace, the traffic... but its so cheap nowadays... i wouldnt want to collect $1 here and $1 there...

artists tend to use exclusive beats... and they need studio time... but if you wanna achieve something and you thing youre going to be the next tupac, you need to invest money, or find your way to get studio time... and if you reach out to the right ppl, you can get REAL hot beats, for very little money...

so when you created a buzz, you hopefully get signed, then you got a budget, and doesnt have to worry about those things anymore

so whats the real deal with making money off mixtapes??

only thing really popping into my mind is: youre doing music 24hrs a day... its the only income you have...
ok, i can understand that, then hell, get $5 a mixtape...

but its definately not ok when a mixtape is $5 and then you have to pay another $5 to get it shipped to the netherlands... or whereever outside the US....
if i see ppl selling those on the street i pay $5 and be gone, and im happy about some really nice music (possibly)
but if you even want $10 on the internet, plus $5 airmail... COME ON, do you know what a retail album in stores cost???? and its perfectly recorded, its all exclusive beats, and it probably even has a concept... ah, yeah, and there is no DJ tagging that shit

BE REAL
you cant sell us a donkey, saying its a horse

someone misunderstood the game... i hate it when motherfuckers become greedy over this shit... take a deep breath and think about it again, what you wanna achieve with those "mixtapes"

Lil' Eazy's rhymes are dope... but the DJ's really did their best to ruin this mixtape. FUCK THEM! >:(

I would support LIL' E if I could buy that shit in the stores... but since I'm living in The Netherlands I only can order it on American sites... fuck that! I aint gonna pay more money because of high shipping costs. That's some fucking bullshit because this is just a mixtape...

And I already got fucked 2 times when I tried to order albums on American sites, so FUCK YOU ALL, MIXUNIT FAGGOTS!

I will buy his album when it arrives in the stores here (if it's good). So don't cry about I'm not supporting LIL' E. I always buy albums original, but mixtapes aint worth buying, because most of the time that shit sucks. Like the LIL' E mixtape, I hate that fucking tags on it! I don't give a fuck about that wack DJ's!!! And how fucking annoying is that fake gun sample spreaded al over the mixtape?! LAME SHIT! That's just a Counter Strike gun sample, LOL!!! Don't get me wrong, it's a nice mixtape, but it aint worth buying.... maybe his album is.

Stop crying... it's just a mixtape.
