Hip hop in 2006
« on: October 30, 2006, 12:59:14 AM »
...thought it was worth a discussion...

Quote
The Hip Hop Nation Circa 2006, a loose conglomorate of aging, bitter artists and sheepish fans who idolize an era that they never lived in, loves to point the finger (and tie the noose, apparantly). No longer is the the socially conscious rap world united against uninteresting and obvious targets like David Duke and C. Deloris Tucker. They have more important things to worry about. Namely traitors - these days even fans and practicioners of the form - including 50 Cent, The South, Those Hating Ass Hip Hop Journalists and Sebastian Telfair (of Through The Fire fame)- have been known to kill hip hop dead like Listerine to Gingovitis.
