thats all good and well, but please don't mistake what I am saying for the usual "release them in OG format" argument. My point goes far deeper than that. I don't produce music, however I guarantee I could come up with better beats than those that have been used. Some tracks sound like damn polophonic ringtones! And there is NO EXCUSE for changing Tupac's words in his music - how can anyone say "support Tupac and his legacy" when they change what he said??? They make him say things he never said through the magic of editing and they cut out things he did actually day!

As far as the beats, do you think Dr. Dre will really waste a beat like the one of "Imagine" for a Pac song without getting paid? At it's the same with the other great producers of the moment? Let me reply for you: NO! So Afeni is giving young talents a chance to prove they're good. Sometimes they make a good remix/beat, sometimes they don't. Just look at Sha Money XL as an example. I'm sure you don't know who the fuck he is, right? Well, he produced the best beat of the album and arguably one of the best track of the year in "Dumpin'" (i really love it), plus he produced "Playa Cards Right (male)", my 2nd fav album of the track. What's wrong with him producing for Pac? He did a great work, you can't bitch on it! Yes, he made "Untouchable" and "Sleep" too, two tracks i don't like, but hey.. he ain't Dre or Quik! Afeni gave "Untouchable RMX" to Swizz Beatz and Bone Thugs. It's not a bad combo at all (consider once again they didn't get paid). She gave Pac's Life to LT Hutton (there's an interview on dubcnn from the past week or something), T.I. (people in the South love him) and Ashanti, she gave Playa Cardz Right to Keyshia Cole, Sleep to Young Buck & Chamillionaire, Playa Cardz Right to Ludacris, Pac's Life RMX to Snoop Dogg... Ok, some tracks have unknown rappers too, in them. But Pac loved to have unknown rappers in his tracks too! (did you know Nutt-so, Scarlo, etc.. who are featured in "Dumpin'" OG when Pac made that track?). Ok, some beats are wack, i give you that. But for free that's the best she probably could manage.

Afeni Shakur can save all the money she wants from these projects, thats cool, but that old saying "spend money to make money" actually applies in real life. Make an album worth hearing and I'll buy it. This is the first album of his I will not buy on priciple - I'm sick of it. As a minimum get someone to do a little quality control on the beats and ensure that your sons legacy is not changed by litrerally putting words in his mouth.

Somebody like Dr. Dre? Man, don't get me wrong, i only like 2 tracks from this album, and overall it's a 2 mics, not more. But some haters will hate on Pac's albums for principle. Once she gave Eminem the job to produce and executive produce it. People bitched. She's letting the Lawz being involved (EDI produced a track too): people bitched. Dj Quik produced a track? People bitched. I don't get it. Is the OG tracks you want? Ok, i'll post you guys all the OG's from all his remixed album. But c'mon.. if you are sure you can tell Dr. Dre or Quik or whoever you like to produce the album for free i'll leave you the address of Afeni Shakur's HQ, i'm sure she won't reject the offer.

How the fuck did these two tracks get past someones ear for quality music? For free or otherwise, if that is the best Afeni can manage, then she needs to hand the reigns over to someone else.

She's the mother, man. And Pac is selling quite good anyway (no, he's selling crazy for an album done investing basically no money).
About Tupac's words being changed i don't like it at all. But i think you gotta blame the producers, there.
Hey, i'm not a fan of Afeni, don't get me wrong. And i don't like this album.
I was talking about the "release the OG's" thing only.
It's obvious since i only like 2 tracks from the album that those remixes could have been done much better.
Quality is not big. But i ain't bitching about the way Afeni wants Pac's albums to be made, and about the way she wants to invest the money.
