Interesting point I thought. I wonder how much Dre charged to mix down every track?

You can hear it through - even on the wack beats (and there are some w-a-c-k beats on this album), the clarity and quality of the mix is superb. Dre makes a difference in that respect - some of the mixing on The Black Album was terrible, for example (Kanye's Encore sucked on that front).

Every track is mixed great, except for those Just Blaze tracks, that sounds nosiy if you turn up the volume.

Every track is mixed and produced great just like 'The Black Album' was. Just because one person says something is wack it doesn't mean everyone has to agree with it.

I always love Kanye's production, but you can tell on DO You Wanna Ride that Dre had a hand in it, it sounds to damn clear and crisp.

However, even if Encore wasn't mixed that well, that beat and songs shits on every song on this new cd by a mile. Mixing is important but its not gonna make a huge difference if the beat isn't tight to begin with.

I'm feeling Kingdom COme now, a grower most definitely, but no real amazing tracks or standouts. Above average album, but nothing incredible on it.

kingdom come is becoming a boring cd... i find myself skipping too many tracks now, it needs more balance... he's got too many similar songs, and not enough street tracks. the cd is still good, just really fucking commercial.
