really cool movie, i liked the concept and the way it all played out, and dustin hoffman killed it, he was hillarious

Really good movie, didn't expect Farrel to be in that much of a serious role.

it REALLY should have ended with him getting smashed by that bus and dying, that would have made the movie so much better. worth watching nevertheless.

Definitely agree, I felt disappointed that they didn't end it like that. I recall thinking "aw fuck off" when it was revealed it didn't. Sort of still works though, you're left with the feeling that Dustin Hoffman's character has with the book after the ending has been changed.

Not really surprising that they ended it on a happy note...Big budget Hollywood movies have no nuts.
