Anyone know info on the next season of "The Shield"?

i love this show but fuck i can only live off re-runs for certain amount of time before i get fed up.  I watch FX all the time and they're always pushing "Nip Tuck" (which i love as well) and that new show "Dirty" but yet i hear nothing about "the shield"

starts in january, season 6, continues on where season 5 left off

rumored to be the last season, depending on how the ratings go
