LMAO @ this thread. i've never tried the white powder treatment, but i do occasionally trim the coin purse and surrounding areas. it also comes with the unexpected benefit of makin the stick look bigger

I find that cornstarch powder has an extra absorbent effect on potential ball sweat. Which will in-turn reduce the health risks (sweat = salt, salt = cholesterol, etc) for the lucky ladies that partake in the ritualistic licking of the sack.  just my 2 cents.
