Nas Hip Hop Is Dead Will be best album of the year

Game's album was way better than Nas. Overall better songs with more replay value. You can say what you want and hate on Game, but that's a fact.

Uh, it's not a fact that Game's album is better than Nas'.  Thats an opinion.  Are you basing that on beats or lyrical content? I haven't heard Nas yet so I can't speak on it, but I seriously doubt he's fuckin with Nas on a lyrical tip.  Now Game did have some nice production so maybe that's what you're referring to.

Uhh, Im talking full package, not just production. Nas has more fillers/skippers than Game's album.

What? One Night, Scream On Em, Wouldn't get far, Bang, Remedy, Da Shit.. are all skippers, well actually, 3/4 of the album can be skipped. Games lyrics are bad on 90% of the songs. The production is good on almost all tracks. Games album would make a good instrumental album. On its own, its average. The lyrics are average, and the flow is OK, hooks are average. Nas's album is almost as good production wise, and if your comparing Nas's flow and lyrics, to Games, well obviously you aren't listening to what Game is rapping about. Games album isn't even on the same level man.

Nas album is hot no doubt best East coast album of the year I think. Games album is hot as well West Coast album of the Year next to SNoopy no doubt

the Nas album is hot no doubt, on first few listens I can't decide which I'd put first, HHID or Doctors Advocate ... both albums were very good, but then again so was Snoop's album, so was T.I's album

those songs are dope.  Those are actually some of my favorites on the cd.

Yes nas' content's going to be more sophisticated but they're trying to do different things..I haven't heard nas' yet (that shit's not even out yet, you cats are crazy) but I saw someone mention something about 'listen to what nas is rapping about' and that about shit ain't fair cause game isn't even trying to rap about what he doesn't want to rap about and that's artistically legitimate.

So have this many people disliked the game on the forum from the get or is this a recent trend?

Yeah but I like the feeling of getting a new album. I like album art, it's part of the artistic statement (especially or rather only with artistic cats...Nas for example). and given how big of rap fans you guys are I thought some people here would be like that too, eh.

Nas is obviously on another level than Game lyrically, Game's album was better though because of the production.

nas album is dope, but i think that ghostface and lupe were better.

in terms of solid cds that you can bang to, i think that ice cube's and game's were better.  nas is better substance/flow/lyrics wise of course, but if you're just having fun i think those two are better.
