* - To start the game, it downloads shit to the harddrive off the blue ray drive for 5 minutes.  Every time.

* - After it syncs the harddrive and the blue ray drive, it resets the system.

* - Every time the system is started, or resets, you have to plug the controller in to sync it to the system.  The cord for the controller is only 3 feet long, so each time you have to get up, walk across the room, and plug the controller back in, then unplug it, and go sit back down. 

None of these are true. To sync the controller when the system is turned on you just press the 'PS' button in the middle of the controller which then assigns to controller to a player, it doesn't have to be plugged into the system for this to happen. The harddrive thing is only the first time you play a game which takes advantage of the harddrive to lessen loading times.

None of the shit that dude posted about synching is true.
Load times are extremely fast and all you do is press the PS button once and turn on the system.
