I thought it was bullshit the first time I heard it, and it's still bullshit today.  DMX is second most overated next to Jay-Z, they're both on Def Jam, and radio stations get payed to make their shit rotational

If DMX was a West Coast rapper, none of y'all would be sayin' this... Snoop never had stronger lyrics than X but y'all praise him. I love both "dogs" for their flows but X actually TOUCHES me (A song like "A Minute For Your Son" is what I call a real song coz it's heartfelt). Snoop's my man, no question, but he has yet to drop any DEEP song. And he got DRE so it helps a whole fuckin' lot... So let me say it again: if DMX was from the West Coast and sellin' 17 million records worldwide (13 inland) like he did, y'all would be PRAISING him coz West Coast fans MOSTLY care about sales, sales and mo' sales... Which is fine with me though, I respect man. But X's the man...

i can't speak for anyone else becuase that's probably true but even if dmx was westcoast i still wouldn't be feeling him any....evidence is a westcoast rapper and i don't feel him any either, but the reason why people (including me) praise snoop is becuase he was legendary back in the day and he is still capable of being that, plus his voice is probably one of the best in the industry so that's probably why alot of people praise him so much

a light bulb turned on and I went from Brandon to Big B. I went from nothing to something and I was like, this fool is gonna ride it out, he's tha dopest rapper out there, the best personality, the coolest cat alive. Props to Snoop and props to DMX... it's when their words speak louder than their music.... then you appreciate them.... all about what they are saying, not how they are saying it...

I liked DMX at first, but every album he just dropped. I liked his 2nd one more, but 3rd was trash. Catchy yes, but not what I wanted. I heard his 4th, and it's cool, but not what I wanted, but some would like it, but I like his first two. Snoop, Doggystyle and Top Dogg are tight in my opinion. Both are different though. When DMX falls, I know 'cause I like that westcoast flow. When Snoop does, I really can't unless I really listen.

how does hew bite pac... did pac ever growl or get into the whole dog thing... did pac have a tatoo of his pit's name on his back... pac did some religious stuff, but did pac ever go and full out pray with his head bowed on his albums... where are the similiarities?  the voice?  i doubt dmx has any control over his voice... his voice is a product of genetics and too much smoking.

ja rule is a biter... dmx is genuine, he's doing his own thing.  he's not nearly as good as pac, but he's not bad, he's not bitin anyone and there is a place for him both in real hip hop and on the mainstream charts

I like that sight.  X is dope IMO.  He's never been a lyrical master.  But, there's a lot of passion in his work.  I really love that WHo We BE video.  Mainstream Hip-Hop needed a video like that.  X will be around for awhile to come.
