best way to do it is when you feel like youre about to flip a shit, take a moment and count to 10, or at least 5 before you do anything. sounds retarded as fuck, but in those moments, you can take a second to calm down and evaluate what you should do.

They don't have a duck pond, and they're also on the other side of the country.

Also, you can't row in ponds. A typical water piece for me is about 14K out and back @ 18-24 SPM.
