I think it would have been good for both sides: Petey could have used D.R.'s notoriety to boost his records sales (controversy sells), D.R. on the other hand could have used Petey's Freek-A-Leek/Goodies buzz (which is dead right now ofcourse) to get in the spotlight again in a more positive manner.

the thing is that Petey don´t need their "street cred" coz Petey´s way more gangsta then Suge´s ever been. people forget that Petey´s been locked up for shooting a couple of cats,robbery and a whole lot of other shit(he served about as much time as Lake). and if he would exploit all that like all these cats that claim to be gangstas he´d definently sell more.
