The official Cash Money website is congratulating Juvenile for his latest album being certified platinum now. The interesting thing is according to Billboard.com the album just went gold. So theres a couple of ways to look at this--Either Cash Money is lying (which is possible-but why? Juvies not even cool with CMB) or more albums go gold/platinum than what Billboard reports. It's just something to think about.

There are so many worthless threads that have nothing to do with music, and you choose this one to complain? O---k..

ANyways-the main purpose of the post was the album sales aspect. Basically, Billboard isnt the most accurate way to find album sales because most companies dont go out of there way to report album sales, so a lot of albums arent bombing as much as we may have originally thought.

i can't see it being platinum, the shit just came out and it ain't never been around no1 yet...didn't it come out around the same time as jiggaz, if so than cash money is lying cause jiggaz just went platinum and it was at no1 for 3 weeks, no3 for a week, no4 for a week, and now no8, so i doubt that shit has gone platinum...anyways, peace.

right now, that shit can't be selling more than 40 grand a week and it's only been on the charts for 9 weeks, it's been going downwards even since it hit the charts...i think gold it true but i don't think it has sold any more than 650,000 copies, peace.

i think cash money is just lying.....why? becuase they're using an old industry trick, poeple think , the more units sold the better this album must be. plus CM gets a larger chunk of the album proceeds so basically they're doing this for their own selfish intentions
