Season 1 is an all-time classic, but they jumped the shark in season 2.. BIG TIME.

^^^^ Fall begins late September..  anyway the 2nd season was very good til like ep 15.. after this there has been some very weak episodes.. I don't care about this show anymore

I agree with you on ups and downs.. what I meant is the concept of this show is limited time wise.. 2 seasons were enough , (though I'm aware TV channel and ratings are huge factor in the decision of making a 3rd season) the story is going nowhere, even since the end of the season 2, I feel like they were running out ideas and some episodes were boring.. imo all these Prison Break, Lost type of shows can be great during one or two seasons but not more (once again great innovative concepts but limited in time )

What an absolutely fantastic series which even managed to better the first series which as 7even has already noted was classic material. However I agree with the overall sentiment which has been expressed on here I really think they are going to overplay their hand by continuing this into a third series because; link has been exonerated, sucre is dead, bagwell is rotting in jail C Note has been unequivocally freed and as for what Sarah said just before the chinese guy appeared by the boat it was very unlikely that anyone would go after Michael in light of what has happened. The shooting would raise questions but in light of what has happened, another man arriving at the scene on his own (the agent) after Link has been exonerated would stink of suspicion. Leading to me think that the american politicians who were loyal to Link's fathers cause would be all over this and would would get Michael out straight away. Having said that, it was apparent that the chinese agent was only interested in Michael so maybe there is hidden surprise which no one has forseen in this plot. I truly hope so because this has been such an awesome breath of fresh air I am a fan of 24 also but it wreaks of cynical propoganda and predictable story lines to a degree anyway which is why this series has stood out so much
