tight shit i just saw, songs are bangin.
West Up. Last year we introduced you to a duo straight off the blocks of South Central known as The Bloc Boyz. The group - made up of Ace & K Boy - impressed everyone with their ability to intertwine lyrics and bravado with their street-influenced musical style. We caught up with them again to bring you a new interview and three exclusive downloads from their “Hood Scriptures” mixtape, including the fan-favorite “South Central” produced by Terrace Martin. Without any further delay, download and listen to these 3 bangers!
The Bloc Boyz – South Central (Prod. By Terrace Martin)
The Bloc Boyz – Let Them Hataz Know ft. Poca & Dae One (Prod. By Dae One & Problem)
The Bloc Boyz – Yessir ft. Roc Slanga

The group has been grinding for years, earning themselves a spot as part of Glasses Malone Blu Division imprint and appearances on a variety of New West releases from Noni Spitz, Roccett, The Frontlinerz and DJ Warrior’s Ill Street Dues 3. They have been featured here on WCR in the behind the scenes footage of Glasses’ MTV appearance as well as for the Dae One-produced collaboration with CTE West’s Roccett titled “Fly Like Us.” The Roccett collaboration garnered the duo a strong underground buzz and following the good reception they hit us off with 5 unreleased bangers that included another Roccett collab.
We hooked up with Ace & K Boy to talk about how they first met, their history together, the status of “Hood Scriptures” and their affiliation with Blu Division, their thoughts on West Coast unity and the New West Movement and more.
Check the interview out below and be sure to stop by their myspace page

to let them know what you thought as well as our forum to interact with them!
