yeah i dunno man, i can scan my *booklet* for ya, if you dont believe me, but it is credited to be from gangsta advisory plus i bought it from a respectable online store who only sell legit stuff, so it doesnt seem like fake copy to me

yes you are both right...
there are 2 versions.
the OG DPG version and the european version (released through Zyx from Germany)
The OG DPG version is a booklet and the European version is just a piece of paper.
also the dpgc u know what im throwin up lp is released through Zyx from Germany.
they released a lot of dpg related cd's and dvd's relased by Zyx. (maybe these are bootlegs I dunno)
personally I have all the dpg cd's from america but I have 2 daz dvd's from Zyx (gangsta shit & tha independent game)

3.... my raw album is a double cd.

I like Raw because at the time it was Daz's 2nd album and it is more of a offical album to me. RR&GB was dope but it had like the whole west coast on it so it felt more like a compilation. Streetz was a upgrade lyrically from Kuruption but not by much. What made Streetz dope for me was more Daz features because he only produced 2 tracks on the first one and he did not rap and the beats were banging on Streetz. Tough to say which was better, I still bang both of them.

the last sentence of this post, you talking about RAW vs. streetz?

I say they're equal counterparts. who's your favorite two assasins upon the mic? DazKurupt.

i can see how someone could see RAW as better (more consistent album) and I can see how someone could see streetz is better (the lyrical moments on streetz are more impressive than the more lyrical moments on RAW) but I think they balance out to equality.

also,
I had it about a year before it was actually released

I think its better than Streetz

Daz has a better flow than kurupt

easily Daz 2nd best album, really nice album

Did you know Daz and Bad Azz rapped over the Street Gangs beat, but song was never released.

where can I get daz and bad azz rapping over the street gangs beat?

also, at the end of RAW, Kurupt says "you're lucky simon ain't home" he mean suge? man dude was still down with suge back then AND in the song "fresh" on Kuruption near the end, somewhat quietly says "death row-fresh"

I think he just feels/felt a legitimate loyalty to the organization that first allowed him to make some cheese. i don't blame him.

and

I know On tha Grind from RAW is on space boogie but I like OTG contextually better in R.A.W. and the space boogie version doesn't say 'crip' at the end when Kurupt yells that shit.

brilliant album....if u listen 2 "This Iz Not Over "Till We Say So"" this is the song for me where daz shines properly...very tight beat and daz exhibits some brilliant lyricism...

Word on the street is that you better have some heat
By your side
Caught your homie slippin', did he survive?
One to the head left him dead off the words that he said
Could have been avoided if he would have drove off instead
Nigga shot at my crib where my momma and kids live
No doubt, now it's time to take some more of you out
Scan the block with an inferred dot, just for a victim
There he go, there he was, there he go let's get him
My motto is no remorse and that you'll never surrender none
Only rely on your self and your gun
Biage, as I get high and look at the stars
Wish and wish and pray to God for our downfall
'Cause then it's back to the same thang, of this life I lead
Bitches, money, and niggas, and weed
Bust a left on one O feral with a double pump barrel
Be careful, cause these streets could sometimes leave ya narrow
With the faith of Moses, and the power of Pharoe
With the bullets hotter than fire and as swift as an arrow
Death becomes your every wish you try to blast me and miss
Now me and my dogs commence to get in your shit
You say the lord is your shepherd and you shall not walk
It's time to gaffle up these niggas stick 'em dead in the trunk
Behold the last words spoken by a dead man
It seems to realize niggas 'll never understand

Kurupt reused a couple songs from R.A.W. on Smoke Odyssey.

But I think Streetz is a much better album only because Daz isn't much of a lyricist. Musically, I like R.A.W. and think it's Daz's second best album after Retaliation, Revenge & Get Back, but it just doesn't stand up to the playablity of Streetz. R.A.W. just doesn't have that universal sound that Streetz does.
yeah i'd agree. kurupt gets daz beats, soopafly, etc anyway so it's basically would I rather listen to Kurupt or Daz? I mean Daz has nice verses(he was better on Ride Wit Us) but he doesn't stay as fresh as Gotti on a whole album.

thought I'd bring this discussion back up, I've recently started listening to RAW again and I have to agree with T this album is as good as any DPG solo record when you look at the dopeness of the production and Daz solid rhymes throughout. It's more of a solo album when compared to RR&GB which had alot of guests basically on every track. To me that album "R,R&GB" is Daz equivelent to Kurupt's "Streetz" basically a DPGC album with alot of dope guest spots. The beats on RAW are  :o

I could never get into RAW or R,R&GB.  Every time I try to put those on, I never make it to the end.  Can't explain why though because I liked most of Daz's other stuff, except for "Gangsta Party."

I know that I'm definitely in the minority not liking R.A.W.
