We definitley could use Gasol, but getting rid of Carter for Gasol won't work. Gasol fills the hole Kristic left, but if we have to lose Carter in order to get Gasol, we will be in the same boat as we are now.

Gasol for Carter would be an amazing trade for the Nets:

Then next season...

^^That's easily a contending team in the east...PeACe
