Damn, this shit is cool to know.  I have always wondered how that whole process works.

Is there any particular reason why "Blow My Buzz" is on The Wash?  Is the song used in the movie?  Does Dre just like that song?  Is it to get more promotion for "Devil's Night"?  I'm just wondering why you guys chose that song rather than another one.

One more question, How come Mel-Man doesn't rap anymore?

Peace Mel

hey dan i apologize if you thought i was callin you out. it wasn't personal. i didn't even look at who posted it. but since you were the one who did i will apolgize to you. i realize that you ain't gonna like everything, but what do you want from dre? the songs he produced may not be above or below a person's standard of dre's beats, but a lot of those tracks are as good an inventive of anything out there. but again, even though i did not call you out cause i never mentioned your name, i do apolozize. but i hope you now have a better idea of the process. and suga foot the song blow my buzz is in the movie and was a replacement for the dre/snoop cuts that didn't get done. that story is in another thread i just did. and mel-man dont rap anymore cause he wants to stay behind the scenes and focus on doing beats and helping everybody else blow up. peace.

Thanks Mel.

I got another question, or rather a thought.  Dre owns Aftermath.  He produces tracks.  He raps.  He does interviews, photoshoots, promotional tours, etc.  That's a lot of shit to be doing.  He not only has to deal with the public and the fans, he has to deal with the business end of things too.  Damn, he's one hard worker.

That was my guess Jay, but in the "2001" booklet, there is a pic of some musicans playing trumpets in the studio.  Thanx Mellow.

I don't think it's "What's the difference".  I think Phish helped out in that song.
