I think everyone here (almost) considers them two classic LP's.  I was joking by the way.

Shit is a tough decision although I think Doggystyle is a little better I would have to hold on to the Chronic...That album started it all...

I don't know if DPGC2001 meant this, but "The Chronic" was the first gangsta rap album or West coast album to reach across to the East coast and most importantly to main stream America.  It was really big back then when Dre did that.

Exactly Incognito...The Chronic was really the first hard-core hiphop album to crossover to MTV and the mainstream back in 92-93...Before that the only rap that was played on radio stations and MTV was MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice type of poprap...And the Chronic was really the first album that east coast heads accepted here in NYC...I remember everywhere you went it was bkasting out of car stereos, headphones, etc...People were even wearing Bitches ain't shit and Deez nutz t-shirts right here in Lower Manhattan...The impact that album made was incredible...

Lil Jay, that avatar is killing me, lol!!

Anyway, this is tough. However, I like Doggystyle as my personal fav, but The Chronic is the better album of the two. Id probably keep Doggystyle.

I'd Keep the Chronic.  That's my favorite album by far.  I've got the whole thing memorized.
