i mean i hear a lot of shit say that album sucked and i think it was fucking dope, i mean i am ALWAYS hearing shit bout saying his albumS at No limit records(WHICH I LOVE THE LABELS MUSIC) were wack and they killed his career or this is wut people say over the internet and internet cd reviews but i LOVED DA GAME IS TO BE SOLD NOT TO BE TOLD AND TOP DOGG but i noticed people don't give those album respect at all. THEY WERE BETTER THAN THA DOGGFATHER IMO.

but what are ur thoughts on these albums

Lunatic

i thought that album was extremely horrible. his worse effort by far. i'm gonna start a thread in the near future similar to this one ;)

the no limit thing wasn't that bad, i thought no limit top dogg & tha last meal were both really decent. but this 1 was a little to "cash money" if you will. "show me love", "don't let go", "still a g thang", "doggz gonna get ya", "hoes, money, & clout" were the only songs i felt at all on this disc. tha doggfather runs circles around it.

Like I always say...as an No Limit Album for no limit fans, this album was Great , but some beats didnt fit Snoop at all but it was still cool to listen to at as a No Limit Release, also there were some good songs on it : Snoops World, Still A G Thang, See Ya When I get There, Dogs Gets Lonely too (Jon B Cover) Rowdy Bout it (whatever it was call) and you cant hate on WOOF!!! this song is the shit!!!! Woof muthafucker ,Woof Muthafucker!!!

I like Da Game cd, its better than Paid Tha Cost IMO.  Still a G Thing is in my top 5 Snoop tracks ever.  I remember The Source issue with Snoop on the cover around the time "Da Game.." album came out.  I still bump some tracks off that cd for sure.

I liked it, but even for a No Limit release, Snoop got alot of 2nd rate beats on that album. Silkk and C-Murder had better beats on their album than Snoop. I think that album will end up being the blueprint for other labels that want to sign a artist from another region or coast and try to hard to make the artist sound well over their sound. His next album had Dre, and also had the No Limit sound as well. Sonically the two were not a good fit until Master P allowed Snoop to work with west coast producers. Smart move.

I ddin't like it at all this and Paid Tha Cost are 2 albums that I tried listening to a few times and I just couldn't, Da Game was basically Snoop over southern No Limit beats xcept for Still A G Thang which is classic, he just didn't seem comfortable and the album was done in 2 weeks I remember Snoop talking about that No Limit used to work like that releasing like 2 albums a month for a while
