Russel > Wilt > Hakeem > Shaq > Kareem.
and Wilt will always be tagged with an asterisk for always being beat by Russel
--- End quote ---
Russell had the better cast. Wilt was the better individual talent...Don't forget, Kareem was unstoppable in his prime. And that was when the NBA competition was at its peak. Kareem already schooled Hakeem in the 80s. And Hakeem schooled Shaq in the 90s...Kareem would be shooting sky-hooks in Shaq's face all day.
--- End quote ---
and Shaq would overpower Kareem because he wieghs so much more
and Russell beat will like 6 playoff series in a row at one point thats just pathetic if your Wilt
*edit btw Hakeem is one of a few list of players who was able to block the hook shot.

It's not pathetic, cuz Bill Russell had Bob Cousy, Tom Heinson, Bill Sharman, Frank Ramsey, Sam Jones, Bailey Howell, KC Jones, John Havlicek, etc. (all hall of fame players)....And Wilt...well....didn't. Like I said, Russell woulda been a power forward in Kareem's era. As for Shaq vs. Kareem, that's really not arguable. Kareem was way more skilled in every way, while Shaq was a power player. Skill will always outdo power. Just like when the less powerful Hakeem schooled Shaq, Kareem woulda' done the same, but to a higher extent...PeACe

It doesn't matter who russel had on his team. Greatness can overcome that. Look at the Warriors vs Dallas last year.
if some cat comes into the NBA and averages 50 points a game and 25 rebounds and you continuously knock him out of the playoffs it says something. 6 straight wins. Think about that.
now, you guys act like i dont respect Wilts talent. I do, but winning is the point of the game and 50 points a game against the bottom feeders of the league doesnt mean look so impressive when you run up against a team that plays defense.
Wilt definetely had a better sex life than Russell
