peace god/now that shit is explained/im taking niggas down a trip through memory lane/

this is it...ANYONE WHO DOESN'T THINK ILLMATIC IS CLASSIC... doesn't know hip hop... its not just Doggystyle/Chronic/AEOM/

you gotta include Reasonable Doubt, Born Again and Illmatic... definetly... Illmatic is there... and it wasn't even a big hit... but years later we look at it and say...THIS SHIT WILL ALWAYS BE PLAYING...7 years later and i still love this shit.... I've been trapped with Snoop, but Nas is who I started with... shit is classic...LOOK OUT FOR NASPOUND.COM IN 200D7!

Yall got me talking now...

answer me this...

is it me or not... but does it seem like the classic albums make you think of life in the west and east

example: Doggystyle/Chronic give me that tight westcoast bbq feeling and illmatic and born again got me feeling this eastcoast walking down the streets of brooklyn feel...

Three-eleven that rips through Power-U's and breaks spines
I culture power-tuggin' boys who be drunk, buggin'
Lovin' loud noise from toys, club thuggin'
Sweet chocolate deluxe, rugged, sexy buttercup
That don't give a fuck about the cop in the club

Personally I think the first the first 3 Nas CDs are really great.  In fact, Illmatic is probably my least favorite of the first 3 (Dont hate-I like Illmatic I just prefer It was Written and I am).  Nastradamus was a huge letdown but it still had an unbelievably tight track in "Shoot Em Up".
